We are delighted to welcome Sam Claypole CDG — one of the most respected casting directors working in the North of England — to The Actors Forge Studio for a full-day Casting Director Masterclass.
This practical workshop is designed for actors who want direct, professional feedback from a working casting director, and a genuine understanding of what the industry looks for in the audition room. A full member of the Casting Directors' Guild, Sam has cast across Netflix features, BAFTA-nominated BBC comedy and Paramount worldwide acquisitions — including The Infernal Machine starring Guy Pearce, the BAFTA-nominated Smoggie Queens for Hat Trick Productions, Killers Anonymous starring Gary Oldman, and Two Graves starring Dave Johns and David Hayman.
Throughout the session, actors will work under real audition conditions, perform scenes, and receive live feedback and direction in a supportive but professional environment.
